Before Your Tour
Key InformationReserve Your Spot: Caving adventures must be booked ahead of time! Check-In: You will meet your guides at a convenient location, near the starting point, at roughly 9:00 AM. This will be finalized with your guides, before your trip. DO NOT COME TO OUR OFFICE. You can expect to leave the cave by 4:00 PM. Waivers: Everyone must complete a Waiver. |
What to Wear/BringFor the Cave: You will get dirty and possibly wet so wear appropriate clothes: Long sleeve shirt, pants, and closed-toe shoes are required as the cave is 55 degrees year-round. For Your Trip Home: Warm, dry and comfortable clothing to change into after your time in the cave. It’s dark, damp and it’s likely you’ll get wet! Bring clothes to keep you warm and dry, as well as a trash bag to contain your dirty gear! Tip Your Guides: Finally…! Your guides work very hard to ensure your enjoyment and safety while on the water. A 10-20% tip is quite standard in the recreation industry. |
Inclement Weather PolicyWe will not run your caving trip if we experience thunder or lightning. We may operate the tour in the rain. Unsure? Give us a call at 301-725-1313! In the event of inclement weather — such as lightning, thunder, or high winds — we will work with you to reschedule your event. Cancellation PolicyMore than 7 days before your event = no cost 7 days or less from your event = we will provide a Rain Check (good for 6 months from the originally scheduled date). |
