Let Terrapin Adventures be your guide and unveil a bold universe of outdoor fun. Learn new skills while you explore local parks, rivers and the Chesapeake Bay. Each tour will need advance reservations that can be made online or by phone.
Kayak Tours: Come join us as we explore the many waterways of the area. We take you to our destinations in our comfortable passenger van so you just relax and enjoy the ride. Many local rivers and lakes with interesting nooks and crannies are just 30 minutes away. The Chesapeake Bay in Annapolis with its many tributaries is also only 30 minutes away.
Our guides will teach you the basics of kayaking and you will soon be one with your boat. We use very safe and stable boats that track well and are responsive to your paddling efforts. As we paddle, our guides will share their knowledge of the Chesapeake Bay watershed. We often see many different kinds of birds, fish and turtles as we meander quietly on the water. We will stop along the tour, stretch our legs and have a snack. Your kayak is equipped with plenty of legroom, and dry storage for your personal belongings.
Kayak Rental: If you have used a kayak before, we will rent our kayaks for the day to you. We will provide kayak, personal floatation device, paddle and tie down straps along with a map of local waterways. Minimum 2 people, maximum 12. Cost $60 per day per kayak. Refundable security deposit of $400 per boat required. Call for availability.
3 Hour Tour is $70. Must be 10 years of age or older and able to swim. For every two children under 14, an adult must accompany the children.
Personal floatation device must be worn at all times. Minimum number for a tour is 2 guests. Maximum group size is 12.

Photography Kayak Tour: The photography kayak tour is for all skill levels and for those wanting to expand their knowledge of wildlife photography. We will get you up close and personal with the wildlife and hidden beauties of the Chesapeake Bay Watershed. You provide a camera and local photographer Erin Travis will share her secrets of shooting in these elements (for more background on Erin see www.erintravis.com). We take out small groups so that our intrusion into the wilderness will be minimized thereby maximizing your experience and the amount of wildlife we will likely encounter. We travel at your pace and stop frequently to observe wildlife, take pictures and/or breaks to enhance your personal experience. This 3 hour tour is offered early in the morning and late in the evening when photo taking is at its best and the water is usually calmer. We provide snacks and drinks but it is recommended that you bring your own water.
3 Hour Photography Tour is $69.95. We also have dry bags for rent or sale to keep your photo equipment dry. Minimum group size is 4, maximum is 8.

Baltimore by Kayak: Join us at the Canton Waterfront Park (2903 Boston St. Baltimore, MD 21224). As we explore the fascinating history of Baltimore including Fells Point, Canton, Inner Harbor. We start out with a basic lesson and then explore the points of interest in Baltimore including Ft. McHenry, Domino Sugar factory, Baltimore Museum of Industry, US Constellation, National Aquarium to name a few.
Baltimore Kayak Tour is $49.95 for 2 hours and includes kayak, paddle, life vest, water. Minimum size tour is 6 and maximum is 12.

Paddle & Crab Feast: Join TA as we explore the many tributaries of the Chesapeake Bay. We will see osprey, turtles, great blue herons and more. Then join us for crabs and seafood at a local crab house.
Paddle & Crab Feast Tour is $69.95 and includes kayak, paddle, life vest, and water per person excluding food. 3 hour tour, for ages 10 and up. Under 18 must be accompanied by adult.

Kayak Fishing Tour: Using our stable recreational style Wilderness Systems kayaks, you will be able to get to the best fishing spots. We provide all the equipment including kayak, paddle, PFD, fishing rod, lures, bait and license. We will show you how to cast and fish from a kayak.
Kayak Fishing Tour is $79.95 for a 3 hour tour. Must be at least 10 years old and tour requires a minimum of 3 people.
