Unique Bike Trips
Enjoy a 12 mile easy ride along the Little Patuxent River riding our comfortable mountain bikes over paved paths and hard-packed dirt. Along the way we often see wildlife and learn about the history of the area. We arrive at beautiful Lake Elkhorn and travel around this lake for 2 miles enjoying the sites and sounds of the lake. Then we enjoy some wine, cheese, and French bread along the lake before heading back to our base camp at Savage Mill.

Using our comfortable mountain bikes, the 13.3 miles easily cruise by as we enjoy the sites and sounds of Western Howard County farm land. We start and end at Larriland Farms, famous for pick your own fruits and vegetables.

Challenge yourself on the single hard packed dirt ridge trails of Savage Park and along the Little Patuxent River. When you return to our base camp, enjoy beer tastings and a choice of six entrees at Rams Head Tavern. We provide the bikes, helmet, instructions, beer and food. You provide the enthusiasm.

Your adventure will begin with an unforgettable bike through Patapsco Valley State Park. You will get to see great waterfalls and classic American ruins as you weave your way through the "Moab of the East." After the bike we will tour one of the nations best micro-breweries right here in Baltimore. Your tour of the Heavy Seas Brewery will include a sampling of their best beers and a souvenir glass.

TA employs comfortable mountain bikes with front shocks, comfortable seats, and high-quality components. We have an onsite mechanic to help maintain our bikes in good working order. TA requires guests to wear helmets (which we supply) on our tours.
Prefer to go at your own pace. Take our bikes and a picnic on a self-guided tour on the Patuxent Ridge Trail. Round trip is only 12 miles.
