We will be hosting many events for community groups, singles organizations, special holiday affairs and many charity challenges. Below are just a few examples of what you can expect to see in the coming months.

Thrill and Chill
 August 14, 3:30; August 28, 3:30pm
Join Terrapin Adventures and the Rams Head Tavern for a special treat. Spend two hours sampling our challenge course. Scale the 43 ft. tall Climbing Tower, traverse all 18 crossings on our High Ropes Challenge Course, glide through the forest on our 330 ft. Zip Line, and experience 2 Gs of force on our Giant Swing. Then reward yourself with a mouth-watering menu of five small plates paired with tasting of five different Rams Head Tavern beers or glasses of wine. After selecting the beverage you liked best, you get a full glass to enjoy. The food is great, the company better, and the tastings wonderful.

Howl at the Moon!! Moonlight Madness is the game.

Join us for some night time fun as we navigate the high ropes challenge course, zip line and giant swing for a couple hours under the stars and moon.  The adventure center has a much different feel at night so come on out for some scary heart pounding fun. Afterward join us for some appetizers and drinks in our party room. Cost is $59.95 per person. Book Now!

Our Adopted Terrapin

Your terrapin weighs 51 grams and eats like a horse!! She (or he) is also a fan of liver, which we feed the terrapins every Friday. She does not bask too much, preferring to spend most of her time in the water!

In 1994 the Diamondback Terrapin was declared the Maryland official state reptile. They can live up to 25 years and they are the only turtle that lives exclusively in brackish water.
